What is Biodynamic Farming?

St. Patrick's Day always entices me to post about my experience living at the Ballymaloe Cookery School or my interview with Ottawa's Male Nurse when we made a gnarly Shepherd's Pie Beavertail (how we convinced Beavertails to let us do that, I don't know).

Surprising myself, even, I decided to share something that feels in the spirit of what Ireland is really about. Good times, green pastures and great food. Below is one of my favourite interviews from my show Om Nom Ottawa with Dave from Riverglen Biodynamic Farm. Tragically, he had to close up shop due to financial reasons. We are grateful for all your hard work Dave! Personally, you were the first farmer I knew who started from a plot of land that needed YEARS of work to actually make the land viable for fruits and vegetables.
